• Visit assigned project sites regularly to monitor progress, workmanship, and readiness for upcoming tasks.

• Review drawings, specifications, and site conditions; identify conflicts and coordinate solutions before they delay construction.

• Plan material procurement and deliveries in coordination with the project team.

• Track project costs, review subcontractor proposals, and prepare change orders for approval.

• Serve as a primary contact for clients, building management, and other project stakeholders.

• Coordinate permits, inspections, and required documentation with relevant professionals and agencies.

• Maintain accurate progress reports, meeting notes, schedules, and written records of project decisions.

• Identify risks early, communicate their impact, and propose practical solutions.

• Manage punch lists, project closeout, and final handover.

• At least 3 years of construction project management experience, with direct experience in commercial interiors, renovations, or tenant build-outs.

• Experience managing restaurant, café, retail, or hospitality projects preferred.

• Ability to read architectural drawings and understand construction sequencing, finishes, and MEP coordination.

• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing schedules, budgets, procurement, and change orders.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with clients and subcontractors.

• Proactive problem-solving skills and accountability for project outcomes.

• Proficiency with project management tools, spreadsheets, and construction documentation.

• Ability to travel reliably between assigned New York and New Jersey project sites and maintain a consistent on-site presence.

• Familiarity with NYC/NJ permitting and inspection processes is a plus.

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

• Please submit your resume and a brief summary of relevant commercial construction projects. Include your role, project scope, and experience managing projects through completion.
