Role Description The Administrative Assistant is a part-time remote role responsible for supporting daily administrative operations of Fayetteville Childrens Clinic. This role includes answering and routing phone calls, managing electronic correspondence, and providing timely information to patients, families, and clinic staff. The Administrative Assistant will maintain digital records, assist with scheduling, prepare basic documents, and support executive-level administrative tasks when needed. Additional responsibilities include updating databases, organizing virtual files, and coordinating with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate information flow. The role requires consistent attention to detail, professional communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a remote environment.
Qualifications
  • Strong administrative and clerical skills, including Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills for organizing records, preparing documents, and supporting daily office functions.
  • Professional phone etiquette and Communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff across phone, email, and other remote channels.
  • Experience with Executive Administrative Assistance or similar roles to support scheduling, document preparation, and coordination for leadership or clinical providers.
  • Proficiency with common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, scheduling tools) and comfort working in a remote, technology-enabled environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Prior experience in a medical or healthcare office setting is preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or coursework in office administration or healthcare administration is a plus.
