Advisor

Our Advisors are experienced consulting professionals responsible for supporting and leading client engagements across procurement, Source-to-Pay (S2P), and business transformation initiatives. This role works directly with clients to understand business needs, develop recommendations, deliver high-quality advisory services, and help clients achieve measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings strong consulting skills, S2P domain knowledge, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to build trusted client relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities

Client Advisory & Delivery

• Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders throughout advisory engagements.


• Lead or support client workshops, assessments, strategy development, business cases, Best Vendor Selection, Success Blueprint, and other Advisory service offerings.


• Translate client business objectives into practical, actionable recommendations.


• Proactively identify project risks, opportunities, and areas where RiseNow can provide additional value.


• Develop and present high-quality client deliverables and recommendations.


• Participate in client steering committee and executive-level meetings as appropriate.


• Partner with RiseNow Project Managers and delivery teams to ensure engagements remain on scope, schedule, and budget.

Source-to-Pay Expertise

• Apply strong knowledge of Source-to-Pay processes, technologies, and leading practices.


• Understand major S2P technology providers, capabilities, strengths, and considerations.


• Advise clients on process optimization, technology selection, integrations, change management, and transformation strategy.


• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and procurement best practices.

Business & Practice Support

• Support development of proposals, Statements of Work, project estimates, and presales materials.


• Identify opportunities to expand RiseNow services within existing client relationships.


• Contribute to Advisory methodologies, playbooks, templates, case studies, and reusable intellectual property.


• Collaborate across Advisory, Delivery, PMO, Sales, and other RiseNow teams.


• Provide coaching and knowledge-sharing to less experienced consultants as appropriate.


• Enter time and support project financial and resource management requirements.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience, including consulting, procurement, supply chain, Source-to-Pay, or related transformation work.


• 3+ years of experience in Source-to-Pay/procurement transformation or consulting strongly preferred.


• Experience working directly with client stakeholders and presenting to senior leadership.


• Strong knowledge of S2P processes and leading technology platforms.


• Experience with one or more areas such as business case development, technology/vendor selection, process optimization, operating model design, or transformation strategy.


• Strong facilitation, presentation, analytical, and written communication skills.


• Ability to independently manage workstreams and deliverables within complex client engagements.


• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and provide clear, prescriptive recommendations.


• Ability to travel based on client and project needs.
