Business Development Director / Senior Director

Location: Boston / San Diego / Remote-friendly

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with U.S. biotech and pharmaceutical companies, identify and drive out-licensing and strategic partnering opportunities for the company’s pipeline, and promote our antibody discovery and R&D CRO services.


• Identify potential clients, develop business opportunities, lead commercial discussions, and drive deals from initial contact to contract closure.


• Coordinate with R&D, project management, and other internal teams to ensure smooth project handover and delivery.


• Attend industry conferences and business development events to expand the company’s visibility and network in North America.


• Identify opportunities forstrategic partnerships, licensing, and co-development.


• Support the development and growth of the U.S. BD business.

Qualifications

• PhD: PhD in Biopharma, Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. Recent PhD graduates are welcome to apply.


• Master’s: Master’s degree or above with 2+ years of relevant experience in business development, sales, partnerships, licensing, CRO services, or related fields.


• Background in antibody discovery, antibody CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical companies is strongly preferred.


• Familiarity with the U.S. biopharma industry; an established client or industry network is a strong plus.


• Strong communication, negotiation, business development, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.


• Fluent in English and proficient in Chinese.


• Self-motivated, commercially driven, and capable of working independently.
