About the Role
Scale Content Inc. is looking for an experienced Entertainment Anchor/Host to present original video coverage across entertainment and pop culture.
The ideal candidate will be a confident, engaging, and personable on-camera communicator with strong interviewing skills, excellent knowledge of the entertainment industry, and the ability to build a genuine connection with guests and audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Host recurring entertainment shows, signature segments, interviews, explainers, roundups, and other original formats.
- Conduct engaging virtual and in-person interviews with actors, filmmakers, musicians, creators, and industry professionals.
- Host man-on-the-street interviews, audience interactions, and original social-first content.
- Research guests, projects, and entertainment trends to develop thoughtful, original interview questions.
- Develop and pitch new interview formats, recurring franchises, and original content ideas.
- Attend and cover press junkets, premieres, red carpets, award shows, film festivals, conventions, screenings, and other entertainment events.
- Create behind-the-scenes content, event coverage, reactions, and social-first videos from the field.
- Build and maintain relationships with publicists, studios, networks, streamers, agencies, and event organizers.
- Collaborate with producers and editors on show concepts, scripts, interview preparation, and editorial strategy.
- Adapt content for YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, X, and other digital platforms.
- Stay current on entertainment news, industry developments, and emerging audience trends.
What You Will Need
- 3+ years of experience as an entertainment host, anchor, interviewer, presenter, video journalist, or on-camera content creator.
- Strong knowledge of entertainment, film, television, celebrities, and pop culture.
- Exceptional interviewing and storytelling skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for developing original content and fresh editorial ideas.
- Comfortable thinking on your feet and improvising during interviews and live situations.
- Confident, engaging, and authentic on-camera presence.
- Strong communication, research, and editorial collaboration skills.
- Experience covering live events, red carpets, premieres, junkets, or festivals preferred.
- Ability to capture professional-quality video and audio in the field using professional or mobile production equipment.
- Flexibility to travel and work evenings, weekends, and non-traditional hours as assignments require.
