Newsom Eye is seeking a highly skilled Refractive Surgeon to join our growing surgical team. This role is ideal for a surgeon with strong experience in laser vision correction and refractive cataract surgery, who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient outcomes in a high‑volume, technology‑forward environment.

Surgeons with interest or expertise in advanced refractive technologies, premium IOLs, and vision‑correction innovation will thrive in our dynamic, multi‑specialty ophthalmology group.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmic care


• Perform cataract surgery and refractive procedures (LASIK/PRK/SMILE/ICL depending on training)


• Manage pre‑ and post‑operative patients


• Collaborate closely with optometrists, technicians, and clinical staff


• Maintain accurate EMR documentation

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of ophthalmology residency


• Board certified or board eligible


• Active Florida medical license


• Strong surgical and clinical skills


• Excellent communication and patient‑care focus
