Private Wealth Associate

MB Attorney Search is conducting a confidential search for a Private Wealth Associate to join the nationally recognized Private Wealth practice of an Am Law 100 law firm. This opportunity may be based in one of the firm's offices (with a preference for Phoenix, AZ or Milwaukee, WI), offering hybrid flexibility while working as part of a collaborative national team.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with approximately 4–8 years of experience who enjoys developing long-term client relationships, solving sophisticated planning challenges, and advising high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and fiduciaries on complex wealth planning matters. The practice offers a broad mix of sophisticated estate planning, trust and estate administration, wealth transfer planning, charitable planning, and related tax matters, along with meaningful client contact and opportunities to collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices.

Attorneys in this practice work closely with clients and their advisors to develop customized planning strategies that preserve wealth, accomplish family and business objectives, and navigate complex tax and succession issues.

Responsibilities

• Advise high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and fiduciaries on sophisticated estate planning, wealth transfer, and succession matters.


• Draft and review sophisticated estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related planning instruments.


• Assist clients with trust and estate administration and fiduciary matters.


• Advise on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, as well as charitable planning strategies.


• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices and related practice areas to develop customized planning solutions.


• Build trusted client relationships while providing thoughtful, practical legal counsel.

Qualifications

• Approximately 4–8 years of experience in sophisticated estate planning, trust and estate administration, wealth transfer planning, and related tax matters.


• Prior law firm experience required.


• Strong drafting, analytical, and client counseling skills.


• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.


• Strong academic credentials and sound professional judgment.


• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters while delivering exceptional client service.


• Licensed to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction or eligible to obtain admission.

Compensation

Compensation is competitive and ranges from $215,000 to $275,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic market.

Location

Hybrid from several of the firm's office locations, with a preference for Phoenix, AZ and Milwaukee, WI.
