Strategic Sourcing Consultant

Briarlake Partners is a strategic sourcing focused recruiting firm. We are leading a search for Manager level (8-12 years of experience) and Sr. Manager level (10-15 years of experience) candidates for a boutique strategic sourcing consulting firm. These roles will primarily lead workstreams focused on category management and strategic sourcing projects. Our client offers an entrepreneurial environment and a lower travel model than other management consulting firms.

All candidates MUST have previous consulting experience with a recognized consulting firm.

Requirements include:

• An appropriate level of strategic sourcing and client management consulting experience


• Experienced completing end-to-end sourcing process - Data Collection, Vendor Selection, Contracting


• Established expertise in specific spend categories


• Experienced in scoping out projects, developing work plans, and budgets


• Experienced in synthesizing information and developing report outs (ppt and excel)


• Proven project delivery results


• Ability to execute and manage multiple streams of work


• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft applications


• Strong analytical skills - proven experience analyzing large volumes of data


• Highly effective oral and written communication


• Bachelor’s Degree, MBA a plus


• Ability to travel up to 20%
