Overview

In this role you will own the budgeting and forecasting lifecycle for a fast-growing company, shaping the enterprise financial model and driving scalable planning. You will partner with strategy and finance leaders to translate targets into detailed plans, while building a durable model and standardized processes. You will lead a small finance team, present to the CFO and executives, and push continuous improvements through technology and AI. This is a hands-on, impact-focused leadership role in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Own the long-range planning and annual budgeting process from kickoff to board presentation with clear timelines and deliverables
  • Collaborate with Corporate Strategy and finance teams to translate revenue/margin targets into detailed budgets and staffing plans
  • Lead the redesign and rebuild of the enterprise forecasting model with emphasis on revenue forecasting and driver integration
  • Create a durable, scalable financial model delivering consistent, decision-ready outputs and reduce manual adjustments
  • Establish standardized forecasting methodologies, processes, and best practices across Finance & Strategy
  • Improve forecasting accuracy by implementing repeatable frameworks enabling the team to operate independently
  • Manage and develop a small finance team with coaching and ensuring model accuracy between cycles
  • Present budget recommendations, forecasts, and methodologies to CFO and executive leadership
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial planning, reporting, modeling, and workflows through technology, automation, and AI
Key requirements
  • 8+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or similar
  • At least 2 years of direct ownership of budgeting/forecasting process from start to finish
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills including three-statement models
  • Experience turning revenue growth and margins targets into detailed, bottoms-up plans
  • Strong understanding of FP&A methodologies, drivers, and modeling best practices
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders
  • Prior people management experience or readiness to lead direct reports
  • Experience with NetSuite and Power BI for analytics and reporting
  • Experience in a high-growth or private equity-backed environment is a plus
  • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude) to improve workflows is a plus
