Finance Manager

Role Description This is a part-time, remote Finance Manager role focused on overseeing core financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance. The Finance Manager will manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing general ledger activity, preparing monthly and quarterly management reports, and coordinating with internal stakeholders on spending, variance analysis, and cost controls. The role will also support compliance with relevant accounting standards, assist with audits and tax preparations, and help design or improve financial processes and controls. The Finance Manager will collaborate closely with leadership to develop financial insights, support decision-making, and contribute to long-term financial planning.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.


• Strong skills in accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.


• Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial software or ERP tools; ability to work with large data sets.


• Knowledge of internal controls, compliance requirements, and audit support practices.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.


• Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance partners.


• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.


• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.


• Previous experience in a finance or accounting leadership role, preferably in a part-time or flexible capacity, is beneficial.
