Environmental Engineering Manager – Hybrid

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Environmental Engineering Manager to lead environmental, civil, and wastewater projects while supporting business growth and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead environmental engineering and remediation projects from planning through completion.


• Manage civil, wastewater, groundwater, landfill, and site remediation projects.


• Prepare designs, specifications, cost estimates, proposals, and technical reports.


• Oversee NJ/PA environmental permitting and regulatory compliance.


• Manage project schedules, budgets, QA/QC, and client relationships.


• Lead and mentor engineers, drafters, and project staff.


• Support business development, client presentations, and local growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Current New Jersey PE license.


• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.


• 15+ years of environmental engineering experience.


• 6+ years of management experience.


• Experience with wastewater, landfill, groundwater remediation, and contaminated sites.


• Strong project management, communication, and business development skills.


• Current OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification.


• Ability to travel as needed.
