Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Technician located in Richmond, VA. The Veterinary Technician will assist veterinarians in providing medical, surgical, and preventive care to animals. Daily tasks include handling and caring for animals, administering medication, monitoring patients under anesthesia, educating clients on pet care, and maintaining clean and organized workspaces within the facility. The Technician will also support diagnostic testing and assist in procedures as necessary.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential required


• Professional, compassionate, and reassuring demeanor


• Strong communication skills with clients, leadership, and team members


• Ability to build trust and rapport with clients and coworkers


• Empathetic and supportive, especially during challenging cases


• Detail-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
