Branch Manager

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead a retail banking location in the Bronx. This individual will oversee branch performance, operations, team development, compliance, customer experience, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive branch growth by identifying new business opportunities and promoting banking products and services


• Build and maintain strong client and community relationships


• Partner with Commercial Relationship Officers and Lending Officers


• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, risk management standards, audits, and security requirements


• Oversee day-to-day branch operations and overall financial performance


• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage branch employees


• Conduct staff meetings and provide clear direction around branch goals and KPIs


• Represent the branch through community involvement and activities supporting CRA objectives


• Travel occasionally to other branch locations as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant retail banking experience


• Prior branch leadership / people management experience


• Strong business development and relationship-building skills


• Knowledge of branch operations, compliance, and risk management


• Associate degree or higher


• Fluency in English and Spanish required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $90,000–$105,000


• $5,000 sign-on bonus


• Eligible for an annual discretionary incentive
