$80,000–$95,000 Base + 10% Bonus

We are partnering with a growing, well-established organization in the Richmond area to identify a Corporate Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an opportunity for an accounting professional who has built a strong technical foundation and is ready to take on greater ownership, broader business exposure, and increased responsibility.

The position will support multiple business units and work closely with accounting and operational leaders across the organization. The right candidate will have hands-on experience with core accounting functions and an interest in developing beyond a traditional Staff or Senior Accountant role.

What You'll Do

• Own key accounting activities across assigned business units


• Support and lead components of the monthly close process


• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations


• Perform financial statement, flux, and variance analysis


• Maintain accurate financial reporting and investigate discrepancies


• Partner with operational and accounting leaders to understand business performance


• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies


• Take on increasing responsibility as you grow within the organization

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience


• Strong foundation in general ledger accounting and month-end close


• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting


• Understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Ability to communicate effectively with both accounting and operational stakeholders


• A self-starter who is interested in taking ownership and growing into broader responsibilities
