Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Bilingual Licensed Insurance Agent based in Laurel, MD. The agent will consult with prospective and existing clients to assess insurance needs, explain coverage options, and recommend suitable products across various lines of insurance. Daily responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound calls, preparing quotes, processing policy changes, and maintaining accurate client records. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, following up on leads, and supporting clients with claims inquiries and billing questions. The agent will collaborate with team members, adhere to regulatory and company guidelines, and actively participate in sales activities to meet individual and agency goals.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Insurance Sales, Insurance, and Insurance Brokerage to effectively advise clients and close new business.


• Solid understanding of Finance and insurance-related financial concepts to help clients make informed coverage decisions.


• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including empathy, active listening, and clear communication in client interactions.


• Active insurance license in relevant lines of authority as required by the state of Maryland.


• Bilingual fluency (spoken and written) in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.


• Proficiency with basic office software and agency management systems; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to work on-site in Laurel, MD, prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and meet sales and performance targets.


• Previous experience in an insurance agency, brokerage, or financial services environment is preferred but not required.
