Senior Accountant- Hybrid

Our P/E backed client is looking for their next Sr Accountant. This role is Hybrid (3 days in office) in East Cleveland.

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in core accounting functions, month-end close, and financial reporting that help support the continued growth of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis, and support schedule preparation.


• Execute month-end close responsibilities in a timely and organized manner.


• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal accounting policies, and established financial procedures while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and accountability.


• Support compliance efforts through documentation of accounting processes, execution of controls, and maintenance of organized audit ready records.


• Compile, analyze, and refine financial data to support management reporting.


• Develop a strong working knowledge of the general ledger system and related financial tools to support efficient processing and reporting.


• Serve as a reliable backup for key accounting functions and assist in maintaining continuity across the department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related.


• 4+ years of progressive experience in Accounting.


• Strong understanding of GAAP.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and if/then, etc....


• Experience with ERP systems.

Salary Range: 90-100K+ Bonus DOE, Education, License, Etc...
