Nursing Home Defense Attorney

Nursing Home Defense Attorney | New York City / White Plains, NY - Hybrid | $210-$230k base + bonus and benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Defend nursing homes and long-term care facilities in civil litigation from inception through trial.


• Handle claims involving nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, wrongful death, abuse and neglect, and personal injury.


• Manage matters involving falls, pressure injuries/decubitus ulcers, medical conditions, staffing issues, and resident care.

Qualifications:

• 1-5+ years of relevant experience.


• Experience handling nursing home, long-term care, medical malpractice, professional liability, or insurance defense litigation preferred.


• Strong litigation, legal research, writing, deposition, and courtroom skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:

• The annual salary for this position is between $210,000-$230,000 annually, plus bonus. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
