Healthcare Investment Banking, Senior Associate or Vice President

A global investment bank is hiring a Senior Associate or junior Vice President for its healthcare investment banking group. The firm has a large institutional sales, trading, and research platform, and has spent the last several years building out healthcare banking with senior hires from leading healthcare franchises. The group covers biopharma, medtech, healthcare services, and healthcare IT, and is active across IPOs, follow-ons, PIPEs, ATMs, and M&A.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day execution on equity offerings and M&A transactions, from kickoff through closing.


• Build and review financial models, including comparable company, precedent transaction, DCF, and rNPV analyses.


• Lead the drafting of pitch materials, offering documents, management presentations, and board materials.


• Manage due diligence and coordinate with clients, counsel, auditors, and the firm's capital markets team.


• Supervise and develop analysts and associates on deal teams.


• Work directly with senior bankers on client coverage and new business.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of investment banking experience, with meaningful time in a healthcare group.


• Live deal experience in healthcare ECM, M&A, or both, ideally across biopharma, medtech, or healthcare services.


• Strong modeling, valuation, and writing skills.


• Bachelor's degree required.


• FINRA SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 preferred.
