Interim Senior Budget & Finance Analyst – Chicago Area

Truity Partners is supporting a nonprofit client in the Chicago area seeking an experienced Senior Budget & Finance Analyst for a contract engagement. This individual will provide hands-on support across budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and capital project reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting process across multiple business units
• Lead/support periodic forecasting and reforecasting
• Analyze revenue, expense, and budget-to-actual variances
• Develop financial projections and scenario-based financial models
• Track and analyze capital projects, project costs, and related funding
• Support fixed-asset accounting, including depreciation, and related journal entries
• Prepare management reporting and financial analysis
• Develop dashboards and ad hoc reporting for leadership
• Partner cross-functionally with business leaders on budgeting and financial performance
• Assist with additional accounting and finance projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of FP&A, or financial analysis experience
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling skills
• Experience with capital projects and/or fixed-asset accounting
• Advanced Excel skills are needed
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar is preferred
• Spanish language skills a plus!

Compensation: $45 - $60/hr. (based on experience and overall fit)
