Addison Group has partnered with a private equity-backed technology company in downtown Chicago to identify a Finance Manager. This is a hands-on, highly visible role offering the opportunity to work closely with the VP of Finance and CFO on financial modeling, strategic initiatives, and business development opportunities. The company is experiencing significant growth and is looking for someone who can help strengthen its FP&A function while supporting its continued expansion.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with in-office days Tuesday through Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain complex Excel-based financial models to support forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making
- Develop custom NetSuite dashboards, financial reports, and reporting packages for executive leadership and private equity stakeholders
- Support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across multiple business units and revenue streams
- Partner directly with the VP of Finance and CFO on new business development initiatives, product launches, and other growth opportunities.
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions
- Improve and streamline existing FP&A processes, financial models, and reporting capabilities following a recent NetSuite implementation
- Support financial analysis, modeling, and reporting related to potential future transactions and strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience
- Advanced Excel skills with demonstrated experience building and maintaining complex financial models
- Hands-on NetSuite experience, including developing custom dashboards and financial reports
- Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance analysis
- Experience working in a private equity-backed company or similarly fast-paced environment preferred
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of financial reporting and analytical projects
- Experience supporting business development, strategic finance, or new product initiatives is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact confidently with executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Compensation:
- $120,000–$150,000 base salary, depending on experience
- Annual discretionary bonus potential
