Senior Tax Accountant

Madison Street Search has partnered with a large, publicly traded manufacturing company in the western suburbs of Chicago to identify a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team.

In this role, you will support the company's overall tax function, with a focus on corporate tax compliance and reporting. You will work across federal and state tax matters, ensure filings and tax calculations are accurate and timely, and assist with audits and other tax needs. You will also research tax issues, analyze financial information, and partner with internal teams on a variety of tax projects.

This position is hybrid, with two days per week in the office. It's a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a Manager role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting or industry
• Experience preparing federal and state income tax returns
• Experience with tax provision (ASC 740)
• CPA preferred
