Role Description The Registered Nurse at Serenity Nursing Services & Serenity Nurse Aide Academy is a full-time/part time, on-site role based in Charlotte, NC. This position involves home care visit including assessments, care planning, The nurse coordinates with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, effective, and person-centered care. Daily responsibilities include documenting care accurately, educating patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance, and supporting nurse aides and students through guidance and role modeling. The RN also participates in quality improvement activities, adheres to regulatory and safety standards, and helps maintain a calm, professional, and supportive clinical environment. OR CNA 1 instructor, educating students and prepare them for tje state exam ane eventually enter the healthcare field

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina and completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.


• Clinical skills in patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and monitoring of vital signs and symptoms.


• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with patients, families, healthcare teams, and students in a clear, respectful manner.


• Organizational and time-management skills to prioritize multiple patients, tasks, and documentation requirements efficiently and safely.


• Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements in nursing practice, with a commitment to ethical and evidence-based care.


• Ability to mentor and support nurse aides and students, fostering a positive learning environment and professional growth.


• Basic computer proficiency for electronic health records and documentation; familiarity with common clinical software is beneficial.


• Prior experience in long-term care, home care, or educational settings is preferred but not required; new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
