Perception Engineer III

We are seeking a Perception Engineer III to lead the development of advanced robotics perception algorithms and sensor integration solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop real-time, multithreaded C++/Linux pipelines for LiDAR, radar, camera, and sensor fusion.
• Build algorithms for object detection, classification, tracking, and perception.
• Integrate ROS/ROS2, DDS, and embedded AI/ML systems.
• Troubleshoot perception issues and collaborate with planning, controls, and systems teams.
• Deploy systems at customer sites, mentor engineers, and document technical solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, Robotics, or related field.
• 4–7 years of robotics, industrial automation, or intelligent vehicle perception experience.
• Expert C++11+, Linux, and multithreading skills.
• Experience with at least two: LiDAR, radar, image processing, or sensor fusion/tracking.
• Proficiency in Python 3 or MATLAB.
• Strong knowledge of linear algebra, probabilistic estimation, and coordinate transformations.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
