We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a proven track record of successfully managing a large dental practice and driving organizational growth.


Position Summary


The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our dental practice, ensuring efficiency, profitability, exceptional patient experiences, and team accountability. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing a busy dental office with three or more providers working daily and has played a key role in scaling practice growth.


Required Qualifications



  • Minimum 5 years of dental practice management experience in a leadership or operations management role.

  • Experience managing a high-volume dental practice with 3+ providers per day.

  • Demonstrated history of contributing significantly to practice growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.

  • Strong knowledge of dental scheduling, insurance processes, collections, staffing, and patient flow management.

  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable to performance goals.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with dental practice management software and reporting systems.


Key Responsibilities



  • Oversee daily operations across all departments.

  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), production, collections, and patient retention.

  • Develop and implement systems that improve efficiency, profitability, and patient satisfaction.

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage administrative and clinical support staff.

  • Ensure optimal provider scheduling and chair utilization.

  • Manage budgets, payroll oversight, and operational expenses.

  • Drive practice growth through strategic planning and execution.

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and company standards.

  • Collaborate with ownership and leadership to achieve short- and long-term business goals.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Multi-location dental practice experience.

  • Experience in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, or group dental practices.

  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and insurance operations.

  • Experience leading teams of 20+ employees.
