Role Description The Remodeling Crew Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Cincinnati, OH, responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities on residential remodeling projects. This role includes leading and coordinating crew members, assigning tasks, and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. The Crew Lead will perform hands-on carpentry and remodeling tasks, read and interpret plans, manage materials and tools, and communicate with supervisors and, when needed, clients. Daily responsibilities also include monitoring jobsite cleanliness, enforcing safety procedures, troubleshooting construction issues, and reporting project progress. The person in this role will be expected to model professional conduct, support training of less experienced team members, and help maintain a positive team environment.
Qualifications
  • Strong residential remodeling and carpentry skills, including framing, trim work, and basic drywall and flooring installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, scopes of work, and project specifications.
  • Experience leading or supervising a field crew, with skills in task planning, delegation, and on-site problem solving.
  • Knowledge of jobsite safety practices, use of power tools and hand tools, and adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Reliable time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail in both workmanship and documentation.
  • Clear, respectful communication skills for working with team members, subcontractors, and occasionally homeowners.
  • Ability to work on-site in varying weather conditions, lift materials, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
  • Previous experience in residential remodeling or construction required; prior crew lead or foreperson experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation to job sites, and eligibility to work in the United States.
