Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager

Location: Walla Walla, WA

Work Schedule: Onsite, 5 days per week

Compensation: $120,000–$130,000 base, with potential flexibility based on experience

CornerStone Professional Placement is partnering with an established CPA firm in Walla Walla, WA to hire a Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager. This is an opportunity to join a growing firm with a strong local client base and an established team of tax professionals.

The firm primarily supports privately held businesses and high-net-worth business owners, with a concentration in the wine, agriculture, and hospitality industries.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax engagements for privately held businesses and their owners
• Prepare and review business-focused tax work
• Work directly with clients on tax and accounting needs
• Support and develop junior team members
• Help grow client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice
• Work with clients across wine, agriculture, hospitality, and other small-business industries

Qualifications

• Active CPA required
• Tax experience supporting privately held businesses
• Manager or Senior Manager-level public accounting experience
• Strong technical tax knowledge
• Experience with wineries, agriculture, hospitality, or related industries preferred
• Familiarity with the accounting and bookkeeping needs of these businesses is a plus
• Growth-minded and interested in taking on increasing responsibility
