Job Description

This is a newly created, high-visibility role within a newly formed team, offering the opportunity to influence complex transactions while partnering directly with investment professionals, deal teams, senior finance leadership, and other key stakeholders.


What You'll Do

  • Advise on accounting and financial reporting implications of complex transactions and strategic investments
  • Provide technical accounting guidance across private credit, investment, and business development initiatives
  • Participate in deal discussions to help drive optimal transaction structuring and accounting outcomes
  • Prepare technical accounting memos and partner with auditors and external advisors
  • Collaborate across Finance, Legal, Tax, Operations, Investor Relations, and investment teams
  • Support financial reporting, accounting policy, and broader finance initiatives


What We're Looking For

  • 8-12+ years of experience within Big 4 or a leading accounting advisory practice (Transaction Services, Deals, FAAS, CMAAS, AAS, etc.)
  • CPA required
  • Experience serving investment management, hedge fund, private equity, private credit, or alternative asset clients
  • Strong technical accounting background, ideally with exposure to ASC 946 and/or ASC 810
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly analytical environment
