Investing & Corporate Development Senior Associate

I'm partnered up with an established firm who have been able to grow a $14m revenue business to $1.8bn in revenue. Their mission is to build a forever company while investing in the commercial and industrial skilled trades businesses and then grow them forever. With 64 deals in 6.5 years, they are targeting 22 new partnerships in 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience in Corporate Development/ Private Equity or a similar investing role.


• Strong financial and analytical skills with M&A transaction experience.


• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.


• Entrepreneurial, highly driven, and comfortable operating with autonomy.


• Willingness to travel and work in-office in New York City or Denver.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-lead M&A and capital allocation for a ~$300M business with a goal of exceeding $1B by 2031.


• Work in a fast-paced team; work side by side with the future operators to find the opportunities, size them, and build the plan.


• Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and close acquisition opportunities.


• Build relationships with founders and business owners.


• Partner with senior leadership to execute post-acquisition growth plans.


• Take increasing ownership of the investment process with a clear path to VP
