Function Description:
This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining complex accounting records, system recommendations, and ensuring adequate accounting and controls. Establishes and assists with the review of account procedures. Provides advanced advisory capability and interpretation on all levels of financial activity. Provides support to Accounting managers by performing tasks related to regular department processes, resolving general ledger account reconciliation issues, meeting department goals and training and development of other department employees. Assists in the preparation of special studies, reports, analyses, and recommendations in areas related to current workflow and Bellco projects such as DNA testing and system upgrades. Provides accurate and timely financial statements and reports to management. Apply GAAP and regulatory accounting procedures and requirements to the financial data and systems.

Contacts: On a routine basis interacts with internal staff, managers, executive staff, auditors, examiners, other financial institutions, vendors, suppliers, service providers and limited member contact.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Work Experience:
4-6 years in Accounting or Finance, 1 year with large financial institution preferred
