Role Description: The Physician Assistant at Florida Center for Epilepsy will provide direct patient care in an outpatient neurology setting, focusing on a broad range of neurologic conditions with a subspecialty focus on epilepsy, sleep disorders, and seizure management. Day-to-day responsibilities include taking patient histories and performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and providing ongoing follow-up care. The role involves educating patients and families about epilepsy, medication adherence, safety precautions, and lifestyle modifications; documenting encounters in the electronic health record; and collaborating with physicians and other clinicians. The Physician Assistant will coordinate care with hospitals, primary care providers, and other specialists as needed, and may assist with quality improvement initiatives and practice protocols. This is a full-time, on-site role located in St. Petersburg, FL.
