Commercial Business Development | Charlotte, NC

This role is ideal for a sales professional with a background in solution-based technical sales who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, managing multiple accounts, and working across internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients

• Identify and develop target verticals within commercial markets

• Manage multiple accounts and support account growth

• Develop channel strategies across dealer/distribution networks, manufacturers’ representatives, direct sales, and e-commerce

• Manage projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders

• Support marketing, digital marketing, and promotional initiatives

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or another technical field

• 3+ years of technical sales experience

• Experience in packaging, cases, manufacturing, or a related industry preferred

• Proven multi-account management and business development experience

• Experience with dealer/distributor networks, manufacturers’ representatives, direct sales, or e-commerce

• Mechanical aptitude and basic blueprint-reading skills

• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• CRM/ERP experience

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Highly organized, self-directed, and results-oriented

• Strong decision-making and project management abilities

• Comfortable collaborating across teams and managing multiple priorities

• Willingness to travel approximately 30%, primarily domestically
