ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Development and Engineering Lead Consultant supports and implements the strategy and success of larger projects to ensure development, deployment and maintenance of on-premise, cloud-based applications and computing solutions, achieve high-quality performance and user experience. They help to define & implement procedures and policies for the team tasked with combining software development and IT operations practices to shorten the systems delivery lifecycle and provide a continuous delivery platform.

WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:

Leadership & Supervision

• Tactical decision-maker, Handles unforeseen issues.
• Manages activities of two or more disciplines or a department. Oversees experience professionals..
• Frequently advises team(s) on moderately complex matters.
• Responsible for fostering a work environment that encourages employees to act with integrity and respect.
• Erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities.

Knowledge & Application

• Establishes operational objectives, work plans and delegates assignments to subordinates.
• Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires conceptual thinking and an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Problems are not clearly defined and lack strategic direction.
• Implements policies & procedures and selects methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Drives the strategy and success of larger projects which contribute to multiple areas of the organization.

Collaboration & Interaction

• Interacts regularly with lower and/or senior management on matters concerning several functional areas, department, and/or customers.
• Applies knowledge to convince other stakeholders on desired departmental outcomes.
