Program Operations Manager

Our client is a FinTech firm in Manhattan, and they are looking for a structured, results-driven manager to oversee operations for its Learning & Development group. The role blends team leadership with process improvement and supports both the broader training function and a dedicated initiative focused on AI education across the firm. Hybrid: 3 days on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a group of training coordinators, assigning work, setting priorities, giving regular feedback, and supporting their career growth


• Act as the operational point person for the firm's AI education program, managing the full lifecycle of its offerings, coordinating event logistics, and making sure stakeholders have what they need


• Work with teammates to rethink current workflows, pinpoint tasks that are repetitive or labor-intensive, and rebuild them to be faster, more scalable, and supported by automation and AI tools


• Lead hands-on integration of AI tools into everyday team processes, turning new technology into measurable improvements in speed and output quality


• Manage large initiatives involving many stakeholders, flagging potential obstacles early, tracking dependencies, and keeping senior leaders informed throughout

Requirements

• 6+ years in program management, project management, operations, or a similar area, with proven success improving processes in demanding, high-volume settings


• Background in training or learning programs a plus


• Bachelor’s degree


• Strong working knowledge of AI tools and concepts, real enthusiasm for new developments in the space, and experience coaching others to use AI effectively


• Prior people management experience and the ability to build a supportive, high-performing team


• Outstanding organization and planning skills, with a knack for taking complex projects from concept through completion


• Polished written and verbal communication, plus the presence to build strong relationships with senior leadership

The annual base salary range is $130,000 to $185,000, commensurate with experience. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
