Location: Newark, NJ

Salary: $200,000 - $250,000

About the Firm

A well-established law firm with a strong Commercial Real Estate practice is looking for a Real Estate Associate to join its New Jersey team. The firm represents developers, investors, lenders, landlords, and tenants across a broad range of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Handle a range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing


• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, amendments, and related agreements


• Represent lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants, developers, and investors throughout transactions


• Conduct and manage real estate due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, and other property-related matters


• Work closely with clients, partners, and other transaction parties from initial negotiation through closing


• Advise clients on commercial real estate matters and assist with structuring and negotiating transactions

What They’re Looking For

• 2+ years of commercial real estate experience at a law firm


• Strong experience with commercial real estate


• Experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated transactional documents


• Strong academic credentials and admission to the New Jersey Bar


• Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills


• Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
