We're looking for an experienced Financial Advisor who is excited by the opportunity to help establish our presence in a new market and grow alongside the firm.

About the Role

This is a client-facing, sales-focused Financial Advisor role for someone who is confident building relationships, guiding prospective clients through the financial planning process, and converting opportunities into long-term client relationships.

As one of the first team members based in our new Mount Pleasant office, this person will need to be highly autonomous, resourceful, and comfortable operating independently while the local team grows. You'll have the support and resources of our established Virginia team, but we're looking for someone who doesn't need a fully built office around them to create momentum.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and existing clients, providing personalized financial guidance based on their individual needs and retirement goals.


• Lead prospective clients through the financial planning and sales process, building trust and helping them determine whether Abich is the right fit for their retirement needs.


• Manage client assets and provide ongoing portfolio management and investment guidance.


• Recommend appropriate insurance and annuity solutions as part of a comprehensive retirement strategy.


• Partner with our Planning, Service, and Operations teams to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans.


• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and deliver the high-touch, white-glove experience our firm is known for.


• Help establish and grow Abich Financial Services' presence in the Charleston/Mount Pleasant market.


• Represent the firm at educational events, client events, workshops, and other community or business-development opportunities.


• Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and planning strategies while maintaining all required compliance standards.

What We're Looking For

• Series 65 license required.


• Life & Annuity license required.


• CFP® designation preferred.


• 5+ years of relevant financial services experience, including insurance/annuity sales and asset management.


• Bachelor's degree required.


• Demonstrated ability to build relationships, develop trust, and successfully guide prospective clients through a sales process.


• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.


• High level of ownership, initiative, and follow-through.


• A self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously and making decisions without requiring significant day-to-day oversight.


• Comfortable being an early member of a growing office and helping create structure as the Charleston team expands.


• Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.


• Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates working across locations.


• High ethical standards and a commitment to acting in the best interests of clients.
