Staff Accountant - CPA

Established and growing CPA firm in Buffalo Grove that provides accounting and tax services to small businesses and high net worth individuals needs a Staff Accountant to join the team.

• Responsible for small business accounting including compilations and reviews.
• Preparation of S Corp, Partnership, C Corp, Trust and Individual tax returns.
• Enter monthly transactions into accounting software, prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries and compilations for small business clients.
• Assist with several reviews of financial statements.
• Prepare monthly sales tax returns.
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns.
• Prepare various informational returns/forms for small business clients.
• Prepare business, individual and trust tax returns.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in public accounting.
• Should have CPA or eligible to sit for the exam.
• Proficient in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to handle multiple projects at one time and meet all deadlines.
• Ability to make decisions and work independently.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
