The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing new client relationships and expanding existing partnerships within your market. This is a true outside sales role that combines prospecting, relationship building, client meetings, networking, and strategic account development.

You’ll work closely with our recruiting team to understand client hiring needs and connect them with the right talent solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Prospect and identify new business opportunities within your assigned market


• Build relationships with prospective clients through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and in-person meetings


• Schedule and conduct client meetings to understand hiring challenges, business needs, and growth plans


• Develop and expand relationships with existing clients


• Create and execute strategies for breaking into new accounts


• Negotiate rates and agreements and successfully close new business


• Partner closely with Recruiters to ensure a strong understanding of client needs and deliver the right candidates


• Maintain consistent follow-up and relationship management throughout the sales process


• Attend networking events and other business development activities


• Represent Addison Group professionally in every client and community interaction

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year experience in sales role


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Natural ability to connect with people and build relationships


• Competitive, motivated, and goal-oriented mindset


• Comfortable prospecting and developing business from the ground up


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment


• Strong organization and follow-through


• Coachable with a desire to continuously learn and grow


• Previous sales or business development experience is a plus
