Melt Shop Manager

We are seeking an experienced Melt Shop Manager to oversee day-to-day operations within a manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for leading the team, maintaining safe and efficient operations, and ensuring production goals are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day melt shop operations.
• Supervise, develop, and motivate production personnel.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency standards are maintained.
• Monitor production performance and address operational issues as they arise.
• Work closely with maintenance, quality, engineering, and other departments.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce downtime, and increase productivity.
• Maintain a strong presence on the production floor and provide hands-on leadership.
• Ensure procedures, policies, and company standards are followed.

Qualifications:

• Previous leadership experience in a melt shop, steelmaking, foundry, or heavy manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Safety-focused with a hands-on approach to operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
