About the Role

Health Source Group is currently seeking compassionate, dependable School Psychologists to join our growing team supporting school districts throughout Westchester County and surrounding areas. We have immediate openings in two districts — Yorktown Heights and Pelham — located approximately 45 minutes apart, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates across Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, and the Bronx.

This is a Monday–Friday daytime position with no nights, weekends, or major holidays — offering the work-life balance that school-based practice is known for, with both per diem and full-time opportunities available across two district locations.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and write comprehensive assessment reports
  • Participate as a member of the Committee on Special Education (CSE) and CPSE
  • Develop, monitor, and support IEP goals and behavioral intervention plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students
  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and support behavior plans
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families on student needs
  • Support crisis intervention and response as part of the school team
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student documentation


Qualifications

  • Active New York State certification as a School Psychologist (provisional or permanent)
  • Master's degree or CAS in School Psychology from an approved program
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Physical completed within the last 12 months
  • Current PPD documentation
  • MMR documentation
  • Ability to complete New York State Education Department fingerprinting (required)
  • Newly certified candidates are encouraged to apply


Required Skills

  • Strong psychoeducational assessment and report-writing ability
  • Working knowledge of NYS special education regulations and the CSE/CPSE process
  • Effective collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Sound clinical judgment and crisis response capability
  • Accurate, confidential recordkeeping


Preferred Skills

  • Prior school-based experience in a NYS public district
  • Experience with FBAs and behavior intervention planning


Required Skills
