Executive Recruiter - Data Centers

As SECCA expands into the data center and critical infrastructure markets, we are seeking an experienced recruiter to help build and grow this specialized practice.

About the Role

The Executive Recruiter – Data Centers will develop and manage a full-desk recruiting practice focused on the professionals supporting data center construction, development, operations, electrical systems, and power infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for developing client relationships, generating search opportunities, and managing assignments from initial intake through successful placement. The recruiter will work directly with hiring managers, senior leaders, and specialized candidates across a rapidly growing and highly competitive market. This is not an entry-level opportunity or a position for someone looking to transition into data center recruiting without relevant industry experience. The successful candidate will already understand the companies, positions, and talent profiles within data centers, industrial construction, or electrical infrastructure and will be able to speak credibly with both clients and candidates from the beginning. The role offers significant autonomy, direct access to company leadership, and the opportunity to help shape an emerging practice area within an established executive search firm. This is a fully remote position open to candidates located in the United States.

Responsibilities

Full-Desk Recruiting

• Manage the complete recruiting lifecycle, including business development, client intake, sourcing, candidate qualification, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and placement.

Business Development

• Build relationships with data center developers, owners, operators, contractors, engineering firms, electrical contractors, equipment providers, and other organizations supporting critical infrastructure.

Practice Development

• Help establish and grow SECCA’s presence within the data center market by identifying target clients, specialized talent segments, and new search opportunities.

Search Execution

• Lead searches for technical, operational, construction, engineering, and leadership-level professionals across data centers and related infrastructure.

Candidate Development

• Identify, engage, and maintain long-term relationships with passive candidates in specialized and competitive talent markets.

Client Management

• Partner directly with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand business needs, define position requirements, develop search strategies, and provide relevant market feedback.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience within an agency, staffing, or executive search environment.


• Direct recruiting experience in at least one of the following areas: data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial construction, electrical construction, or power infrastructure.


• Proven ability to develop client relationships and generate new business.


• Experience independently managing searches from initial business development through successful placement.


• Strong track record of sourcing and engaging specialized passive candidates.


• Working knowledge of the companies, positions, and talent profiles within the recruiter’s area of specialization.


• Experience communicating directly with hiring managers, senior leaders, and executive-level candidates.


• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and other recruiting and sourcing tools.


• Strong communication, organization, accountability, and follow-through.


• Ability to work independently and remain productive in a fully remote environment.
