Senior Director of Accounting & Finance

Our client is an apparel and fashion manufacturer. They seek a Senior Director of Accounting & Finance to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting and finance operations.


• Direct monthly close and daily financial transaction activities.


• Manage revenue reporting and monthly financial statements.


• Lead financial, bank, and regulatory audits.


• Develop budgets and oversee cash flow management.


• Implement financial policies and manage organizational risk.


• Ensure tax compliance and regulatory reporting.


• Improve financial systems and operational processes.


• Monitor inventory exposure, cost control, and customer profitability.


• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance.

Requirements:

• 8 to 15 years of career experience from private or combo


• Hands-on operational accounting experience preferred


• Strong multi-tasker who can prioritize effectively


• Licensing background helpful


• CPA or equivalent
