Tree Climber / Climbing Arborist

$27–$35 per hour based on experience and certifications · Full-time, year-round · Weekly pay

Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM start at our South Miami yard. Optional storm/emergency work at premium pay.

WHO WE ARE

Grove Tree Service & Landscaping has cared for trees in Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Pinecrest, South Miami and Miami Beach since 1981. We are a Miami-Dade licensed and insured tree care company with an ISA Certified Arborist on staff and modern equipment: bucket trucks, spider lifts, grapple loaders, chippers and stump grinders. We do residential fine pruning, large removals, HOA and municipal contracts - no line clearing.

THE JOB

• Climb and work aloft using SRT or MRS; set up and run rigging for removals and technical pruning

• Operate aerial lifts, chainsaws (ground and in-canopy), pole saws and chippers safely

• Prune to ANSI A300 / ISA best practices — crown cleaning, reduction, raising, structural pruning of young trees

• Keep the truck, saws and ropes in working order at the end of each day

• Work alongside our arborist and crew leaders; help train groundsmen who want to climb

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years of production tree climbing (2+ preferred); comfortable with rigging and removals

• Valid Florida driver's license with a clean record (CDL a plus)

WHAT WE OFFER

• $27–$35/hr, reviewed at 90 days and annually; credential pay increases

• Full-time, year-round work — 40 hours every week, no seasonal layoffs, weekly paychecks
