The ideal candidate combines mortgage knowledge with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in compliance, technology, and continuous improvement.

• Perform assigned compliance and quality control reviews, including specialized reviews required by the company, agencies, investors, or regulators.

• Document findings, deficiencies, responses, and corrective actions, and work with applicable departments to resolve identified issues.

• Support internal and external audits, QC responses, and vendor or third-party quality reviews by gathering and organizing required documentation.

• Identify recurring errors, trends, and areas of potential risk and escalate material or recurring concerns as appropriate.

• Track corrective actions and help identify when findings may require process changes, system updates, or additional employee training.

Regulatory Training

• Coordinate and administer required regulatory compliance training, including scheduling, distribution, completion tracking, and recordkeeping.

• Assist with developing and maintaining training materials, presentations, quizzes, and employee communications.

• Research regulatory requirements and coordinate with Compliance leadership and subject-matter experts to keep training content current.

• Incorporate recurring compliance and QC findings into future training and education initiatives.

Regulatory, Systems & Process Improvement

• Monitor changes to federal and state mortgage requirements and assist with evaluating operational impacts.

• Support updates to procedures, checklists, training materials, workflows, and internal documentation when requirements change.

• Monitor loan origination system functionality and workflows for potential compliance or data-quality concerns.

• Participate in system and workflow testing and help identify opportunities to improve reporting, automation, controls, and operational efficiency.

• Support the responsible use of technology and AI-enabled tools to improve accuracy and consistency.

Marketing Compliance

• Assist with reviewing mortgage marketing and advertising materials for regulatory, licensing, disclosure, and product accuracy before distribution.

• Coordinate potential compliance concerns with the appropriate Compliance or business teams before materials are released.
