Vice President Liquidity Risk Oversight

We are partnering with a leading global financial institution to recruit a Vice President for its Liquidity Risk Oversight team within Treasury Risk Management.

This position will combine independent oversight of liquidity risk with ownership of special projects across multiple legal entities. Working closely with the Head of Liquidity Risk Oversight, the successful candidate will assess funding and liquidity risks, challenge Treasury activities, and deliver analysis and recommendations to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead liquidity risk projects, including limit recalibration, product analysis, market surveillance, and ad hoc review and challenge.


• Provide independent oversight of funding and liquidity positions across regional branches and legal entities.


• Enhance the liquidity risk oversight framework, including monitoring, controls, escalation, and governance.


• Prepare and present risk assessments and recommendations to senior management and risk committees.


• Support regulatory engagement and collaborate with Treasury and global risk teams while maintaining independence.

Candidate Requirements

• 5+ years of liquidity risk experience within first- or second-line functions at a large U.S. bank or foreign banking organization.


• Strong understanding of liquidity stress testing, balance sheet risks, financial markets, and banking products.


• Knowledge of U.S. liquidity risk requirements, including Regulation YY, SR 10-6, and Regulation WW.


• Familiarity with liquidity metrics, including LCR and NSFR.


• Strong project leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide effective challenge to senior stakeholders.


• Relevant consulting experience is a plus.
