Staff Accountant – Lots of growth potential

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our non-profit organization. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $80,000, along with excellent benefits and a positive work-life balance. This hybrid role allows for a blend of remote and in-office work.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Senior Accountant and report directly to the Controller.


• Perform various accounting and bookkeeping functions, with a focus on general ledger accounts and business transactions for the parent company and its affiliated entities.


• Ensure adherence to the organization’s Accounting Policies and Procedures manual.


• Maintain a fundamental knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in accounting or a related field.


• Strong understanding of GAAP and adherence to accounting policies and procedures.


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.


• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
