As a Tax Senior Manager in BIG, you guide client positions on BIG credits and deductions while shaping the practice's growth. You will lead process improvements, develop and mentor the team, and manage key client relationships. Responsibilities
  • Maintains deep understanding of BIG benefits and identifies related client opportunities
  • Develops solutions to maximize client BIG tax benefits and communicates optimized approaches
  • Drives process improvements for identifying, documenting, and supporting BIG benefits during exams and appeals
  • Represents clients before federal/state tax authorities as needed
  • Research and prepare tax implication studies and MEMOs to support projects
  • Develops presentations for marketing and sales opportunities
  • Develops new or improved client strategies and marketing approaches
  • Supervises and evaluates BIG staff including training and career development
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, required
  • Seven or more years of prior experience, required
  • Six or more years in BIG tax consulting, required
  • Experience supervising tax consulting professionals, required
  • CPA, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Caseware, GoSystems, and other tax software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and research abilities
  • Ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
