Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Finance Specialist. The Finance Specialist will review and analyze financial data, prepare and interpret financial statements, and support accounting and tax-related activities. Daily responsibilities include reconciling accounts, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, verifying financial records for accuracy and compliance, and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders. The role involves collaborating with team members and clients through clear, professional communication, addressing inquiries, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. The Finance Specialist will also help improve financial processes and contribute to the implementation of best practices in finance and accounting.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance skills, including financial analysis and an understanding of financial principles.
- Candidates should possess Accounting skills, including general ledger management and account reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work with Financial Statements, including preparation, review, and interpretation.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and support recommendations.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
- Relevant experience in finance, accounting, or tax services, preferably in a remote or distributed environment.
- Proficiency with accounting and spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, accounting platforms) and strong numerical accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain high standards of confidentiality and ethics.
