Accounting Consultant

We're seeking experienced Accounting Consultants to join our client teams onsite in Charlotte, NC. These roles are ideal for professionals ranging from Senior Accountant to Controller level, supporting a variety of accounting functions including financial reporting, close processes, and operational improvements while ensuring GAAP compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general ledger reconciliations and support financial reporting
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Support audits and prepare required documentation
• Identify and implement process improvements across accounting functions
• Contribute across areas such as AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition, and more, depending on engagement needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 3+ years of accounting experience (Senior Accountants) up to 10+ years (Controller-level candidates)
• Experience in public accounting, consulting, or industry environments preferred
• Proficiency in ERP systems xevrcyc such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work onsite in the Charlotte metro area

Engagement Details:

Contract opportunities typically range from 3–6 months (with potential extension) and offer competitive hourly or consulting rates, commensurate with experience.
