About the company:

We're partnered with a highly respected structural engineering firm in the Washington, D.C. market looking to add a Structural Engineer to its growing team.

This is an opportunity for an early-career engineer to develop strong technical building design experience, work alongside experienced engineers, and progress toward greater project responsibility and PE licensure.

What you'll be doing:

  • Performing structural analysis and design across a variety of building projects
  • Preparing calculations, drawings, and construction documents
  • Supporting design of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures
  • Developing drawings and models using Revit
  • Reviewing contractor submittals and supporting construction administration
  • Coordinating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Taking on increasing technical and project responsibility as you develop

What we're looking for:

  • 0–5 years of structural engineering experience
  • EIT certification required or ability to obtain shortly after joining
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • PE progression encouraged as your career develops
  • Building design experience through professional work, internships, or academic projects welcomed
  • Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD preferred
  • Familiarity with RAM, RISA, ETABS, SAP, Enercalc, or similar software is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
