Job Description

Insight Global is seeking to hire an Electrical Engineer sitting in Frederick, MD to support the design and development of Air Traffic Control (ATC) Voice Communication Systems. This individual will be responsible for creating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and hardware installation packages while performing equipment selection, power distribution analysis, grounding, surge protection, and environmental assessments.

The engineer will support system integration efforts, including factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and troubleshooting of hardware, cabling, power, and communication interface issues during installation and operations. They will ensure all designs and implementations comply with FAA, customer, industry, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Additionally, this person will collaborate with systems, network, software, and field engineering teams while supporting engineering documentation, configuration management, and technical reviews throughout the project lifecycle to deliver reliable, mission-critical communication solutions.

Contract/Contract-to-Hire Roles:

Compensation:

$50/hr to $58/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
